CGH Welcomes New OB/GYN
April 27, 2010 —Cibola General Hospital is pleased to welcome Ann Church, M.D., to its Medical Staff. Dr. Church specializes in obstetrics and gynecology and is practicing at the Cibola Family Health Center in Grants.
Dr. Church received her medical training at the University of South Dakota, in Vermillion South Dakota. She completed her residency at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Church practiced obstetrics and gynecology for several years in her home state of South Dakota. Prior to relocating to Grants, Dr. Church spent two years practicing in New Zealand.
Dr. Church is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Professional memberships include the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG) and the American Medical Association (AMA).
Dr. Church will be the only practicing OB/GYN specialist in Cibola County, offering a variety of unique services. She will see patients for both general and high risk pregnancies, routine gynecological exams and procedures, and gynecological surgeries. These gynecologic procedures include laparoscopic and traditional hysterectomies, urinary incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse procedures to name a few. Additionally, she is interested in the treatment of infertility and Natural Family Planning.
Dr. Church will be practicing alongside three physicians at Cibola Family Health Center (a multi-specialty clinic owned by Cibola General Hospital) – Dr. Karla Vitale, Family Practice and Obstetrics; Dr. Okay Odocha, General Surgery; and Dr. Charles Onyeama, Pediatrics.
