June 11, 2010 —Cibola General Hospital, located in Grants, NM, has received a 2010 Aster Award for excellence in marketing. The Aster Awards is an annual medical marketing awards program allowing healthcare organizations and advertising agencies to compete against similar-sized competitors from around the globe. Cibola General Hospital earned a silver recognition in the category of special events for its 2009 "A Night out with Cibola General Hospital" 50^th Anniversary Gala Event.

"Our goal for this event was to bring the community together to honor and recognize those individuals who made the last 50 years possible," said Kenneth Cochran, CEO.
