Hospital Mil Levy Proposal Passes
GRANTS, NM - According to the information posted at the County Courthouse at 1:28 a.m., the Cibola General Hospital Mil Levy Results are as follows:
Total ballots counted 2,311. 1774yes; 537/no.
“We are very pleased with the results of the election,” stated Ida Chavez, CGH Board of Trustees President. “This is an example of the overwhelming support that the community provides our hospital.”
“Cibola General Hospital staff, board members, physicians, and volunteers have worked diligently over the past few months to inform the community about the impact the local hospital has and how Mil Levy resources help the hospital to better serve community members,” says Michael Makosky, Chief Executive Officer. "I also want to thank the citizens of Cibola County for their continued support of Cibola General Hospital. We look forward to serving the community's healthcare needs well into the future."
Cibola General Hospital hosted community forums, informational events, and conducted a thorough advertising campaign highlighting the uses of the Mil Levy funds and the importance of passing the Mil Levy.
