LOCAL HOSPITAL DONATES BEDS TO NURSING HOME
June 6, 2011 — Cibola General Hospital has recently donated five beds to the local Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Grants, New Mexico.
The hospital budgeted to replace five of hospital beds this year. The bed replacement is part of a long-term plan to renovate and upgrade patient rooms in the facility.
“Cibola General Hospital is pleased to donate beds to the Good Samaritan Center,” said Pamela Akin, Chief Clinical Officer of Cibola General. “We wanted to find use for these beds, as opposed to building up our waste, during this time of renovation. These beds will make an enormous difference in the nursing home."
"The Cibola General Hospital is a great supporter of Good Samaritan Society Grants and the beds are just another shining example of the continued support they provide,” says Margaret Kaplan, Administrator of Good Samaritan Society: Grants. “We are truly blessed.”
