CIBOLA COUNTY - "Voting yes would help us continue to provide quality service for the medical needs of the residents," said Cibola General HOspital Chief Executive Officer Mike Makosky. "The mil levy provides us with funds to give quality care."
The hospital services over half of the county residents, 65 percent to be exact. That's nearly 20 percent more than it served 10 to 15 years ago, according to a recent survey.
The hospital's goal four years ago in its strategic plan was 60 percent. "We surpassed it," said J.F. Rimel Jr., the hospital's Chief Financial Officer. "I credit the success to a friendlier staff and better quality in service and equipment."
